7 Common Types of Packaging Methods You Must Know

Here is the list of 7 Common Types of Packaging Methods You must know.

  1. Hotstamping
    • Making hotstamping copper plate ,then using foil ,press by hotstamping machine with high temeparture . image on the cooper plate will be on the paper
  2. Anodized aluminum hot stamping
    • The hot stamping process uses the principle of heat transfer to transfer the aluminum layer of anodized aluminum to the surface of the substrate to form a special metal effect. Therefore, the main material used for hot stamping is anodized aluminum foil.
    • Material: There are gold, silver, laser gold, laser silver, black, red, green and so on.
  3. Spot  UV
    • Making spot uv plat – put on spot uv machine – with oil – image will be shining or matt -dry ,then spot uv finished
    • According to the needs of product glazing, local glazing is carried out on the prominent parts of trademarks and packaging printed materials.
    • Compared with the surrounding patterns, the glazing pattern is brighter, brighter, and has a stronger three-dimensional effect, which can produce unique artistic effects. Partial UV glazing is a kind of surface finishing technology for printed matter.
    • It is named for its selective glazing of printed graphics with UV varnish with high brightness, transparency and wear resistance.
  4. Embossing & Debossing
    • Making emboss plat – press on die-cut machine with high pressure – image on
    • Embossing: gravure making-on machine-positioning-pressing-inspection
  5. Convex
    • Embossing (debossing) is a special process technology for finishing the surface of printed products. It uses negative (concave) and positive (convex) mechanically to apply pressure exceeding the elastic limit of the printed matter substrate. Artistic processing.
    • In order to enhance the three-dimensional sense and artistic appeal of printed graphics. The embossing effect is relatively flat. If you want a better effect or a layered effect, you can use embossing.
  6. Die cutting
    • Indentation: making indentation plate-on machine-positioning (fix the position with EVA)-drawing lines-filling the bottom-adjusting the feeder to feed the paper-pressing-inspection
    • Tooth line: making tooth line plate-on machine-positioning (fix the position with sponge glue)-drawing line-filling the bottom-adjusting the feeder to feed the paper-pressing-inspection
    • Tooth line: making tooth line plate-on machine-positioning (fix the position with sponge glue)-drawing line-filling the bottom-adjusting the feeder to feed the paper-pressing-inspection
  7. Die cutting indentation
    • Die-cutting indentation is to make the edges of color prints into various shapes according to the requirements of the design, or to add some special artistic effects on the prints, and to achieve a certain use function.
    • The process of punching the substrate into a certain shape on a die-cutting machine is a die-cutting process; the process of using a steel wire to stamp on a substrate or leaving a groove that is conducive to bending is called an indentation process.
