Printing is the process of transferring text, pictures, photos, anti-counterfeiting and other original manuscripts to the surface of the paper, textiles, plastic products, leather, PVC/PC, and other materials through plate-making, ink application, pressurization, and other processes, and copying the contents of the original manuscripts in batches. Printing is the process of transferring the approved printing plate to the substrate through printing machinery and special equipment.

Printing resolution?

Resolution refers to the number of pixels per inch on a bitmap image, in DPI (pixels/inch). The resolution determines the fineness of the details of the bitmap image. Generally, the higher the resolution of the image, the more pixels it contains, and the clearer the image. The printing resolution is generally above 300 dpi.

Printed colors?

The color modes that can be supported for printing include CMYK mode, grayscale mode, bitmap mode, and duotone mode. To improve the quality of printed matter, mastering the characteristics of each color mode is the key. The coloring settings are all CMYK, and cannot be special colors or RGB. The color of the base map coloring should not be lower than 8%, otherwise, the color will be too light to be printed.

What is bleeding?

Bleeding refers to the pattern that increases the outer size of the product, and some pattern extensions are added at the cutting position. Since the tools used to cut printed matter are mechanical tools during printing, the cutting position is not very accurate. In order to solve the problem of printing caused by inaccurate cutting

The way of printing?

Offset printing: It is an indirect printing method with stable quality and process, widely used, such as newspapers, books, packaging, etc.

Gravure printing: The ink contained in the gravure pits is directly embossed on the substrate, which is often used for large quantities of printed matter such as wine labels and sugar paper.

Flexographic printing

A type of letterpress printing technique, formerly known as flexographic printing. Use rubber and soft resin as the printing plate, and print with water-soluble or alcohol-soluble ink.

Screen printing

Use special equipment and special technology to print products and media that cannot be printed by conventional equipment and technology.

Digital printing

Digital printing is a new printing method that directly prints computer files on paper, which is different from the cumbersome process of traditional printing.

The process of printing?

Pre-press refers to the work before printing and generally refers to photography, design or production, typesetting, film production, printing, etc.

Printing refers to the mid-printing work, the process of printing out the finished product.

Post-press refers to the post-printing work and generally refers to the post-processing of printed matter, including lamination, paper mounting or die-cutting, window pasting, box pasting, quality inspection, etc.
